1. Website & App Usage

By accessing and using the Thayappura website (thayappura.live), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• The website is intended for personal, non-commercial use to browse information and make bookings at Thayappura Resort.
• You agree not to misuse the website, including but not limited to: attempting unauthorized access, introducing malware, or interfering with the site's functionality.
• All content displayed on the website — including text, images, logos, and design — is for informational purposes and may be updated without prior notice.
• You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use this website and make bookings.
• We reserve the right to restrict access to the website or any part of it at any time without notice.

2. Payments

All payments made through the Thayappura booking platform are subject to the following terms:

• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Thayappura does not store your card or bank details.
• Room rates displayed are per night and inclusive of all applicable charges unless stated otherwise.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the price at the time of booking.
• In the event of a payment failure, no booking will be confirmed. If your account is debited but the booking is not confirmed, the amount will be refunded automatically within 5–7 business days.
• All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR).

3. Refunds & Cancellations

Our cancellation and refund policy is strictly time-based. Refund percentages are calculated based on the time remaining before the standard check-in time (12:00 PM):

• After Check-in Time: No refund will be issued.
• 0–8 Hours before Check-in: 100% cancellation charge on the booking amount.
• 8–12 Hours before Check-in: 50% cancellation charge on the booking amount.
• 12–24 Hours before Check-in: 15% cancellation charge on the booking amount.
• More than 24 Hours before Check-in: 10% cancellation charge on the booking amount.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically take 4–7 working days depending on your bank. For cancellation requests, please contact us at +91 9744880011.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Thayappura Resort and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the website or our services.
• We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal belongings during your stay. Guests are advised to use the available safety lockers and take reasonable care of their valuables.
• Thayappura is not liable for any disruption of services caused by natural disasters, power outages, governmental actions, or other force majeure events.
• We do not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the website or the absence of errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
• Any reliance you place on information provided on this website is at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Thayappura brand and website are protected:

• The name "Thayappura", its logo, website design, content, photographs, and all associated branding materials are the exclusive property of Thayappura Resort.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any content from this website without prior written permission.
• Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action under applicable Indian copyright and trademark laws.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of our website and/or guest at Thayappura, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful personal information during booking, including your full legal name, valid contact number, and email address.
• Present a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, etc.) during check-in.
• Adhere to all house rules and policies of the property during your stay, including maintaining quiet hours, respecting other guests, and following safety guidelines.
• Be liable for any damage caused to hotel property by you or any member of your party.
• Not engage in any illegal, disruptive, or harmful activities on the premises.
• Not share your account credentials or booking confirmation details with unauthorized individuals.
• Report any issues, damages, or concerns to the management immediately.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously:

• Personal information collected during booking (name, email, phone number) is used solely for reservation management, communication, and improving our services.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as required for payment processing (Razorpay) and communication (email/SMS services).
• Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption via Google Firebase.
• You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at contact@thayappura.live.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kannur, Kerala, India.

9. Changes to Terms

Thayappura reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
